Govt se college is known as sadiq egerton college bahawalpur is the very famous college in district bahawalpur. It is 125 year old . It is very oldest college and made by nawad sadiq the badshsh of riyasat bahawalpur.it has satuated near the farid gate bahawalpur. it has all departments of education . All the professres in all the departments are also intelligent .physics department, chemistry department , maths department, biology department, geographia gepatment, urdu department , english department , statistics department ,farsi department etc.This college has on masjid , two huge grounds, many buildings and a beautiful cycle stand. The govermant has many issue to privaties this college but the strikes of professers and students get sucess and this college is saved with privaties. Another intersting thing of tkis college is that every professer has its own private academy where they teach students.




Govt se college create many tallented professers . The first prinsciple of govt se college is prof. babu prisna kumar, basically a hindu.The 2nd principle of this college is also a hindu. In 2010 the principle of this college is prof. dr rana muhammad sadiq  which doctor in chemistry studied in lonbdon . Now he retired and studying children in punjab college bahawalpur.Now the principle of se college is prof. dr shafiq ur rehman the dr in zoology and studien in london.This college has  many labs including two physics two chemistry and two biology labs.every student has freedom to go to labs and compleating their assiments.

Every year there is about 3000 student which takes admission in govt se college bahawalpur. they takes admission in FA   FSC   BA    BSE   BS(hons)   MA   MSE.There is a big hall on govt se college known as qadir hall.
